This course equips participants to design and manage practical rural input distribution systems. Participants learn to segment farmer and outlet markets; map trade areas and seasonal demand; set distributor and agro-dealer selection criteria; build route-to-market and replenishment plans; calculate stock norms, reorder points, and safety stock; monitor sell-in versus sell-out; and manage dealer credit, product stewardship, and channel compliance. The course also covers sales-force target setting, field-visit discipline, promotion planning, and the use of Excel, KoboToolbox, QGIS, and GS1 standards to improve visibility and control.
