Participants examine how healthcare supply chain processes are designed and governed in enterprise resource planning environments, from item master creation and supplier records through procure-to-pay, inventory control, demand planning and recall traceability. They practise defining healthcare-specific item attributes, setting min/max and reorder-point policies, using lot and serial tracking, interpreting inventory and procurement reports, resolving three-way-match exceptions, and building dashboard measures for service level, expiry exposure, fill rate and purchase-price variance. Requirements and prerequisites

Participants should have practical experience in a healthcare supply chain, procurement, pharmacy logistics, inventory control or ERP support role. Training methodology

The course uses short instructor-led briefings followed by structured work in healthcare ERP scenarios. Participants inspect item-master records, purchase orders, receipts, inventory transactions and exception reports drawn from a hospital case covering pharmacy, theatres and central stores. Small groups configure policy decisions on worksheets, calculate replenishment settings, test a mock recall and define dashboard measures. Facilitated reviews compare operational, finance and clinical perspectives.
