Requirements and prerequisites

Participants should have practical experience in oil and gas maintenance, reliability, operations support, materials management or ERP/CMMS administration. Training methodology

The five days combine instructor-led process walkthroughs with guided exercises based on an offshore compression train and refinery rotating-equipment case. The instructor demonstrates ERP maintenance transactions and data relationships using SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and IBM Maximo-style screens, then participants apply the methods in small teams. Workshops cover asset master-data review, notification triage, job-plan development, materials planning, KPI interpretation and turnaround work packaging. Day 1: ERP maintenance architecture and asset data

Frequently asked questions

You should understand basic maintenance work processes and be able to read work orders, equipment records and simple maintenance reports. Experience using SAP PM, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, IBM Maximo or another CMMS is helpful, but you do not need to be a system configurator.

A laptop is recommended for live online delivery and useful for classroom exercises, although course materials are provided. You do not need access to your employer's ERP environment; exercises use instructor-provided scenarios, templates and system-style demonstrations.
