Course overview
Business continuity teams often hold critical recovery information across spreadsheets, shared drives and informal contact lists, making it difficult to prove that plans are current, linked to business priorities and ready for use during an incident. Fusion Framework System provides a structured platform for managing business impact analyses, recovery strategies, plans, exercises, incidents and corrective actions. This course addresses the practical challenge of configuring the system so that continuity data supports operational decision-making, audit evidence and coordinated recovery rather than becoming another disconnected repository.
Participants learn how to translate an organisation’s continuity methodology into Fusion Framework System configuration. The course covers organisational hierarchies, user roles, data fields, BIA questionnaires, recovery time objectives, dependency mapping, plan templates, workflow approvals, exercise records, incident tasks and reporting dashboards. Participants gain the ability to configure controlled data collection, connect impacts and dependencies to recovery plans, manage review cycles, and produce defensible management information aligned with ISO 22301 requirements.
Delivery combines instructor-led demonstrations with guided configuration labs using realistic continuity scenarios, including a healthcare service disruption and critical supplier outage. Participants build and test a configured continuity workspace, review data quality issues, and use system reporting to identify overdue plans, unresolved actions and recovery gaps. Training methodology
The five-day programme alternates short instructor-led explanations with live Fusion Framework System demonstrations and structured configuration labs. Participants work from a realistic organisation model, configure BIA and plan records, map dependencies, define workflow controls and build management reports. Small-group reviews challenge the quality of recovery objectives, ownership and evidence captured in the system. Daily exercises build toward an end-of-course configuration blueprint, followed by an application-planning session in which participants identify stakeholders, data migration needs, pilot scope and governance decisions for their own deployment.

Day 2: Business impact analysis and dependency configuration
